Ladies! It’s summertime! You’re traveling to see the distant family and see the in-laws! You simply can’t forget your hair essentials when traveling to your humid, or dry, destinations! This is why we are sharing a few tips to pack them up for travel.

#1 Carry your must-have shampoos, conditioners, and formulas in travel-sized bottles.

Full-sized bottles are typically too large and bulky to put in your carry on, and if you are only staying for about a week or two, they are unnecessary. Full-sized bottles also leak easier. If you don’t want to get the refillable bottles, a lot of popular brands also come in travel sizes!

#2 Bring travel-sized products with you, such as a travel-sized brush.

A fold-up brush with a mirror combo is always a good choice, and nowadays there are mini travel kits you can buy too. Yes! Mini straighteners, curlers and hair dryers! And when packing things bring your hair-ties and bobby pins in a plastic baggie or small container, an old tic tac package works great!

3# What else should you bring?

Hairspray

If you want to go carry-on only, don’t take any aerosols. Go for a non-leakage alternative and try a pomade or gel. But if you really want to use hairspray, it also comes in travel sizes!

Headbands and scrunchies

For easy, and simple hair care, headbands and scrunchies are some of the easiest, low-maintenance accessories that a girl could ask for! And they are super cute!

Blow Dryer & Flat Iron

Most hotel rooms will have blow dryers ready to use, even some hostels include them, so remember to keep that in mind. But if your blow dryer is a must-have, opt for a travel-sized version that will take up less space. If you can’t do that, Put it with your socks, with one pair over the nozzle, and the cord to protect them. The same goes for your straightener, they also come in travel sizes!

Dry shampoo

Dry shampoo works wonders when you are on the go, it’s not an alternative to washing your hair, but on days between shower days when your hair is looking a little down, it really comes in handy! It soaks up all the oils in your scalp to make your hair nice and refreshed.

I hope these tips have been useful to you, How do you pack? What are your travel essentials?
