The Mane Choice Biotin Infused Gel, I cannot express my excitement when purchasing this product, I have been longing to get a hold of this product, just to see what all the hype was. If you already follow me on Instagram on Naturesnaturalhair1you would have seen pictures posted of me using this gel, and the definition that this gel has given me and the shine too may I add.

What is Biotin?
Biotin known as vitamin H is one of the B-complex vitamins that helps the body to convert food into energy. The Word biotin comes from the ancient Greek word "biotos," which means "life" or sustenance. This vitamin helps to keep your skin hair, eyes, liver and nervous system healthy.
This product specialises in helping to keep your hair healthy as well as providing you with a great hold. It promotes hair growth and retention, it defines your curls and smooths your edges, it repairs the detectable damage, it moisturises your hair and helps to tame frizz and it helps to minimise damage and breakage.

Directions to define curls: On clean damp hair , apply evenly from root to end, working curls into your desired style. For faster drying, sit under a dryer or use a blow dryer with a diffuser. For 2nd day hair apply a few sprays of water to dry hair then evenly apply gel while using your fingers to reshape and scrunch your curls back into place for a fresh finish.
Directions to smooth edges: On clean, damp hair, apply gel evenly to edges. Then smooth edges with the palm of your hands and finally brush edges gently to smooth in the product into your hair. For 2nd day hair: To reactive the gel, apply a small amount of water to edges by spray bottle or by applying water to brush and smooth into your edges. Next, apply gel to edges. Then smooth edges with the palm of your hands and finally brush edges gently to smooth in product for a fresh finish.

The Review
When I saw the set up of this brand at the hair and beauty show, It caught my eye from a long distance, not only do I love the colour purple, the whole set up was great, I was over the moon, I just had to have one of their products to try out. I was like a kid going into a candy store, full of excitement and could not decide on what product to try as I wanted to try them all!! I have heard so many good reviews about this brand, and I longed to try it out for myself.
The tub comes in 16oz size , the consistency of the gel is really thick it reminded me of custard but thick custard not runny. I was a bit apprehensive to use it as I was have not used a gel of this consistency before, but hey never judge a book before you try and so I did. I applied this to my hair after I had washed and deep conditioned, after applying my leave-in conditioner and oil, I delved right into the tube and applied a liberal amount to my hair. This gel is light-weight and does not flake or made my hair feel coated at all. I applied the product to two sections of my hair and used my fingers to rake the product through each strand. The slip was unreal It made raking through my hair at ease, my fingers glided through each strand, my hair felt smooth and was left looking shiny I loved every moment apply this product to my hair, my hair felt very moist and hydrated. I allowed the product to air dry in my hair, and I can tell you that my hair still felt moist, I had no crunch, my hair wasn't frizzy and dry, my hair had shine and it helped to define my existing curl pattern, I got compliments from using this product in my hair and I would recommend you to try this hair gel.
Remember you do not need to use a lot of this product in your hair, just apply the amount required for the sections of your hair.

My view on this product is hands down a winner for me, I love how light this product is when applying it to my hair, the slip it gave me, and the fact that I did not experience any flaking or build up. I did get a long lasting hold throughout the day, I did not have to re-apply any more product to my hair and I did experience shine. This is a product I would purchase time and time again hands down and would highly recommend you try this for yourself!
